Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas is an upcoming four-hour-long anime spin-off series based on the feature film Army of the Dead (2021). The series will premiere on Netflix. It is currently untitled.
The anime series will be another prequel, focusing largely on Scott Ward‘s origins and the early days of the zombie outbreak. According to Snyder, the anime “tells the story of where the zombies came from and what their deal is… It goes to Area 51 and does a whole a bunch of psychedelic craziness, which is cool. Let’s just say it scales in a way that’s unexpected as far where the zombies come from.” (SyFy)
Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Tig Notaro and Omari Hardwick will reprise their respective roles for Lost Vegas from the feature film. New characters will be voiced by actors like Christian Slater, Joe Manganiello and Vanessa Hudgens.
